DL Edwards is a celebrated guitarist, producer, and educator whose artistry and innovation reflect the creative excellence of DOA Academy of the Arts. With years of national touring and studio experience, DL has performed alongside major artists and graced legendary stages including The Blue Note (Napa & New York) and Yoshi’s Oakland. His career highlights include performing for an audience of over 200,000 at the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington, serving as guitarist for Club Nouveau, and recording on John P. Kee’s 2024 Christmas Album.

A passionate educator, DL taught Music Appreciation at the high school level for four years, inspiring students to discover both the business and the beauty of music. 

DL is also the founder of The Church Guitarist Club, a national teaching platform dedicated to helping musicians of all levels reach their goals. His upcoming book, “The World Is Waiting on You,” chronicles his journey through music, faith, and purpose—an inspiring testament to his belief that true artistry begins with authenticity and heart.
