Vince Cole is a seasoned session and studio guitarist with over 30 years of experience across a rich spectrum of musical genres, including jazz, funk, hip hop, country, and soul. A graduate of California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Jazz Studies, Vince has earned a reputation for his unmatched versatility, technical mastery, and deeply expressive playing.

Vince’s career includes an eight-year faculty tenure at the prestigious Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, where he educated and inspired the next generation of professional musicians. He brings not only elite technical instruction but also real-world music industry insight to every classroom he enters.

Currently, Vince is the featured guitarist for Grammy Award–winning Club Nouveau, as well as chart-topping saxophonist Shawn Raiford and national recording artist Lucky Witherspoon—placing him among some of the most respected names in contemporary R&B, jazz, and soul music.
 

He has shared the stage and studio with a diverse roster of acclaimed artists, including:

  • Butterscotch (NBC’s America’s Got Talent)

  • Chris Mann (The Voice, Postmodern Jukebox)

  • Gavin Turek (neo-disco/soul icon)

  • Jonny Good (Lady Gaga’s bassist)

  • Rainsford (musician/actress Rainey Qualley)

  • Tarra Layne (Grammy Foundation & top indie talent)
     

Vince’s work is defined by his stylistic range, precision, and musical sensitivity, making him not only an extraordinary performer but a transformational educator.
