Shonn Hinton is a proud product of Milwaukee’s vibrant, diverse, and often underappreciated community of singers, musicians, and songwriters. Over the years, his distinct signature sound has
evolved into a remarkable blend of styles, drawing comparisons to the smooth, melodic tones of Eric Clapton, while also showcasing the electrifying intensity reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix and Freddie
King—artists who have profoundly influenced his career.

Born into a family of musicians—his father a guitarist and his mother an organist and singer—Shonn began playing guitar at the age of 12. His passion and dedication to music have cemented his place in Milwaukee’s music scene for over a decade, during which he has developed a unique playing style that seamlessly incorporates elements of classic R&B, blues, jazz, pop, rock, and hip-hop.

With three albums and four singles to his name, Shonn’s mission is clear: to revive authentic music and inspire audiences with heartfelt, soulful sounds. His immense talent and versatility have afforded him opportunities to perform alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Angie Stone, 112, Avant, Kelly Price, Syleena Johnson, Glenn Lewis, Michelle Williams (of Destiny’s Child), The Williams Brothers, Dave Hollister, Jill Scott, and John Legend, among
others.

When not touring, Shonn continues to captivate audiences as a solo artist. Beyond music, his creative
talents extend into the realm of fashion design, further demonstrating his boundless versatility and
innovation. Whether through his music or his designs, Shonn Hinton continues to inspire, surprise, and
leave audiences yearning for more.
