Guitar Instructor

Richard Tang is a 22-year-old guitarist and producer studying at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Rooted in R&B, Soul, Funk, Rock, Fusion, and Gospel, his playing draws inspiration from Sly Stone, Ray Parker Jr, to Jimi Hendrix’s psychedelic blues, to gospel quartet guitar legends like Jubu Smith. In addition to his work as a musician, he has also crafted a skill in analog engineering while slowly crafting his own sound.
