Kyle T. Hamilton is a revered force in the live sound and audio engineering industry, bringing more than three decades of experience to some of the most iconic stages and artists in modern music. As the founder of NeverSleep Productions, Kyle has earned a reputation for delivering world-class front-of-house (FOH) and broadcast mixes across genres, venues, and formats—solidifying his place among the top-tier engineers in the business.
A graduate of the L.A. Recording Workshop in Studio City, California, Kyle began his professional journey in 1994 and quickly gained recognition for his ability to enhance the live performance experience through sonic clarity, precision, and energy. His extensive résumé reads like a hall of fame roll call—he has worked as FOH Engineer or Broadcast Mix Engineer for legendary artists such as Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder, Usher (including the Las Vegas Residency and the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show), Janet Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Summer Walker, Doja Cat, and Jasmine Sullivan, among many others.
From historic performances like Prince’s live shows and Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN.” European tour to landmark events like the Soul Train Awards, the Tyler Perry Studios Gala, and the MusiCares Gala honoring Lionel Richie, Kyle’s work has elevated the live audio experience at every level. His career spans multiple award-winning and Grammy-nominated performances, including mix engineering credits on Gladys Knight’s At Last and Miki Howard’s Three Wishes.
Over the years, Kyle has maintained long-term engineering relationships with a broad range of A-list performers, including Normani, Lalah Hathaway, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, and Jamie Foxx. His ability to adapt to both emerging talent and veteran icons alike speaks to his artistic range and deep industry respect. He has also contributed his expertise as a Production Manager and Audio Designer for large-scale tours and television events such as The Voice, Empire Live, and SKEE TV.
In 2018, Kyle was honored with the Parnelli Award for FOH Mixer of the Year, a distinction that reflects his exceptional commitment to excellence in live sound. Whether supporting a single microphone or orchestrating full-scale arena productions, Kyle brings unmatched dedication, artistry, and technical mastery to every project.
Today, he continues to innovate and lead in the field, with current and ongoing work for artists like Doja Cat and Lalah Hathaway, all while mentoring the next generation of engineers through his company, NeverSleep Productions.
