Kitty V Griffin

Kitty V. Griffin is a distinguished humanitarian, entrepreneur, author, gospel recording artist, actress, transformational coach, and CEO with a dynamic career spanning over two decades. She is the Executive Program Director and CEO of Aspire Youth Engagement Programs, Inc., where she has served since August 2016. In this role, she oversees the daily operations of year-round after-school programs for elementary and middle school campuses within the Pittsburg Unified School District, impacting approximately 1,440 scholars. Kitty is instrumental in coordinating districtwide programs for 1st-8th grade students, hiring and coaching staff to deliver quality programs, and directing Aspire Visual & Performing Arts Summer Camps. Her creative leadership extends to camp productions, activities, and Common Core academic projects.

Since January 2018, Kitty has also served as the Ministry Coordinator for Solomon Temple Ministries International, where she oversees various ministry groups, collaborates with team leads to execute impactful programs and special events, and represents the church as a community liaison. She coordinates weekly Sunday services, oversees the church's marketing efforts, and mentors ministry leaders to ensure program success.

Kitty's earlier career includes a decade-long tenure as a Program Manager for Sacramento City Unified School District (2005-2015), where she administered after-school programs for over 900 scholars weekly. She directed initiatives that provided homework assistance, enrichment, and recreation while managing staff and partnering with district leadership to execute creative programs. Kitty also served as the Director of the “Kidz N Arts” Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Academy, where she facilitated courses in dance, drama, choir, and social etiquette. Additionally, she directed Sacramento’s annual Youth & Talent Competition.

As the CEO and Founder of Progressive Women of Excellence, Inc. (PWOE, Inc.) from 1999 to 2009, Kitty led a nonprofit organization that served women and children through community-based programs. Her initiatives included College Dormitory Homes, hosting a three-day Annual National Women’s Conference, and producing television and radio shows under the banner of “Reaching Out.”

In her ministry background, Kitty is deeply affiliated with Solomon Temple Ministries International in Pittsburg, CA, under Pastor Victor S. Brice. She has coordinated the Empowered Woman Conference in the Greater Bay Area and continues to champion efforts that uplift communities through her faith-driven work.
