Jonoah Tarver is a prolific and gifted young artist from Sacramento, California. He fell in love with bass guitar at the tender age of five and quickly became a highly sought after musician in his teen years. Growing up playing in churches all over his area, his skillset waxed exponentially.  Known for his fast adaptability, mesmerizing groove, and extensive musical vocabulary, he rose to prominence as a professional musician in his own right. Before the age of eighteen years old he was he was already playing behind major gospel & R&B artists, like Tim Bowman Jr., Beverly Crawford, Club Nouveau, Bri Babineaux, and many more.

He received a full scholarship to study at the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston Massachusetts, for a summer term. During his time there he recorded jazz records and was selected to perform in their elite jazz and fusion ensembles at the Berklee Performance Center.

His deep understanding of musical theory, as well as its practical application to modern music, make him an irrefutable talent. On a personal level Jonoah brings a maturity beyond his years, while yet maintaining the intensity and excitement of his youth, making him an asset to our team of instructors.
